I am a retired educator with a passion for learning, personal growth, and empowering others through education. Throughout my career, I taught Spanish, English as a Second Language (ESL), English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies in urban, suburban, and rural communities across both public and private schools. I also taught Professional Development Spanish courses at St. John Fisher College, helping educators expand their language skills and cultural understanding.
Working with students from diverse backgrounds has strengthened my ability to connect with people, adapt my teaching style, and create engaging learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed. I believe education should be both meaningful and enjoyable, and I have always strived to foster a classroom culture built on curiosity, creativity, respect, and encouragement. My students consistently demonstrated strong academic growth, including excellent performance on standardized assessments.
Beyond the classroom, I am deeply interested in lifelong learning and the exploration of ideas that help individuals and communities flourish. My interests include spirituality, music, social activism, physical fitness, and mental health—topics that have shaped both my personal journey and my approach to helping others grow.
Some of my greatest strengths include critical thinking, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and analytical thinking. I enjoy solving complex problems, exploring new perspectives, and finding innovative ways to inspire learning and meaningful conversation. Whether mentoring others, sharing knowledge, or engaging in thoughtful discussions, I believe that curiosity and compassion are powerful tools for creating positive change.
Today, I continue to embrace opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute. I hope to inspire others to think deeply, live intentionally, and never stop growing—both personally and professionally.
