I am a dedicated community leader, mentor, coach, and youth advocate with a genuine passion for helping young people and families throughout the City of Rochester and beyond. I believe that when young people have access to the right resources, opportunities, guidance, and people who believe in them, they have a greater chance to succeed and thrive.
As a Community Liaison with the Rochester City School District, I have the opportunity to support nearly a dozen schools, helping connect students and their families with resources that can make a meaningful difference in their lives. My work allows me to serve as a bridge between our schools, families, community organizations, and the greater Rochester community. Whether a student needs additional support, a family is searching for resources, or a school needs stronger community connections, I want to help people find what they need.
I am also passionate about mentorship, coaching, and leadership. As a coach, I have seen firsthand how discipline, teamwork, accountability, encouragement, and positive relationships can shape a young person's future. I am also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where the values of leadership, scholarship, service, and brotherhood align closely with the work I strive to do within my community.
A major part of my work is bringing people together. I understand that helping our young people succeed takes all of us—students, families, educators, mentors, coaches, community organizations, and leaders working together. I want to use my position and my relationships to make resources and opportunities easier for people to discover and access.
Through my DEEPDIIG Hub, I plan to organize and share resources with students, families, staff members, fellow Community Liaisons, and community partners throughout the Rochester City School District and beyond. From youth programs and educational opportunities to mentorship, family support, community organizations, and other valuable resources, I want this Hub to become another place people can turn when they need information, support, or a connection.
Ultimately, my mission is simple: connect people with the resources, knowledge, opportunities, and community they need to move forward.
